Setting the standard in rugged carry cases, Pelican was looking to expand their customization offering so customers could make the most of their products.
I designed an online customization tool for users to create the foam insert to secure the contents of their case. Centered around a dynamic canvas, users would design their custom insert with a digital library full of common objects, shapes and popular items. The library also allowed the flexibility for users to create their own assets with the camera on their mobile device. Once complete, the final piece was sent direct to the production facility and needed minimal involvement since the tool would output the project to spec.
